ROCKMAT is an innovative concept of offshore wind foundations adapted to rocky or uneven seabeds. ROCKMAT is a patented technology for an interface between soil and a superstructure (jacket, monopile, concrete base). It consists of a smart combination of a grout injection system, associated to jack leveling system.
With no site preparation or drilling, ROCKMAT is a lower cost solution that can be implemented using only the local industry and at no cost to the marine environment.
Its simplicity opens way for site preparation, installation and decommissioning cost reductions.

ROCKMAT was conceived and patented by OFFSHORE FOUNDATION SOLUTIONS (OFS), a multi-disciplinary consultancy dedicated to the design of foundation for the Marine Renewable Energy sector that covers the areas of offshore geotechnics and geophysics, steel and concrete structure analysis and marine operations.
The basic engineering studies have validated the cost competitiveness of ROCKMAT for site where pile driving is not possible. OFS offers to support the project development of offshore wind farm where ROCKMAT is the most suitable foundation solution.

Structural engineering
CETEAL is a non-affiliated consultancy specialized in the design and analyses of offshore foundation structures for Marine Renewable Energy projects. CETEAL is a partnership between CTE, a civil engineering consultancy with a strong experience in the design of onshore wind turbine foundations with more than 3 500 foundations designed in 10 years, and MAREAL, specialist for the design of offshore structures for the Oil and Gas for more than 20 years. CETEAL relies on the experience and knowledge of its 30 engineers and draftsman specialized in the offshore steel and concrete structures.

Cathie Associates is a consulting and engineering office, specialized in offshore geoscience and geotechnics. With an original activity in the Oil and Gas industry, Cathie Associates has been involved in numerous Marine Renewable Energy projects for several years and accounts for a wide experience in the offshore wind energy industry, notably in Germany, the United Kingdom and France. In total, Cathie Associates gathers 50 engineers specialized in geology, geophysics and geotechnics.
